Each is crafted from Green Sandalwood. Sandalwood is a heavy wood, which makes these combs have a real luxury feel to them. Sandalwood combs are anti-static and won't rip hair out, but instead will gently detangle. The combs are coated with a wax when made, to protect them. This wax will wear off in time.

If you like, you can treat your comb occasionally with olive oil to condition the wood. As the wood ages, it will turn shades of green, which really adds to its beauty!

Because these are made from natural wood, each comb will have unique color, patterns and wood grain.
